Public Version 2.0 Unveiled at Greenbuild
Public Version 2.0 of the IGCC was launched at a press event at USGBC's Greenbuild International Conference & Expo on November 18. The Code Council was joined by representatives from all five Cooperating Sponsors, presenting a unified front of industry leaders and advocates who are committed to the transformative power that IGCC will bring to the building industry. Get Involved - Proposal and Hearings
The IGCC development process will involve two hearings in 2011. Code change proposals for Public Version 2.0 were due to the Code Council by Jan. 3, 2011. Those proposals will be heard at the Code Development Hearings in May, to be held in Dallas. Details of the May hearings to follow early in 2011.

Thousands of Organizations and Individuals Commit Their Support to the IGCC
A synopsis of IGCC Public Version 2.0 is available as a download from the ICC website. The download process includes a specific step to document support for the IGCC. The impressive list of organizations and individuals who support the IGCC has grown tremendously in the days since the launch of Public Version 1.0, with new supporters arriving daily.

IGCC Coalition partner the American Institute of Architects (AIA) has built an advocacy page on the aia.org website that serves as a resource to architects needing more information on the IGCC and also seeking to take an advocacy role in their communities.
