Fowler Memorial Ride Rumbles to the Florida Keys

The exciting 11th Annual Bob Fowler Memorial Motorcycle Ride was held Saturday, Sept. 27 and Sunday, Sept. 28 prior to the ICC Annual Conference. Two days of fun-filled rides, departing from Fort Lauderdale, took riders through the edge of the Everglades into Key Biscayne, Key Largo, Marathon Key, and over the Seven Mile Bridge into Key West. Riders experienced the unique Overseas Highway firsthand, the highway that goes to sea. The wildly popular motorcycle event is organized every year by Ron Nickson, Vice President of Building Codes for the National Multi-Housing Council, and supports the Fowler Foundation, which honors the memory of the first chairman of the International Code Council Board of Directors Bobby J. Fowler.
