First-Ever cdpACCESS Online Voting Open May 19-30

cdpACCESS, ICC's new code development tool, will set another milestone when online voting is held May 19-30 on assembly floor motions from the Group C Committee Action Hearings (CAHs) in Memphis.

In the past, assembly motions were voted on at the hearings. For the Group C CAHs, the process will be revised so that anyone in the assembly can make a motion if they disagree with the committee’s action. If the motion is seconded, the moderator will announce that the vote will occur online through cdpACCESS after the CAHs. The results of the online vote will be included in the Report of the Committee Action Hearing which is scheduled to be posted June 6. Successful assembly motions will be treated the same as they have been in previous cycles, resulting in an automatic public comment to be considered at the Public Comment Hearings Oct. 1-5 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

All ICC Members as of March 28, 2014, are eligible to vote on the Group C CAH assembly floor motions. If you are an ICC Member, please take a moment to log into cdpACCESS and make certain you know your username, password, and voting PIN.
