On the Job for Building Safety in Ohio

Building and Fire Officials Meet at the Ohio Statehouse for Building Safety Week

Ohio building and fire officials joined International Code Council Regional Manager, Government Relations Corey M. Roblee on May 27 at the Ohio Statehouse for their annual Building Safety Week Lobby Day. Those in attendance met with Ohio Senate President, Bill Harris, and the Speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives, Armond Budish. All were introduced during the General Session of the Ohio House of Representatives by Speaker Budish and were presented with a House Commendation recognizing Building Safety Week by Rep. Kevin Bacon and Rep. Cheryl Grossman. Officials also met with Senator Jim Hughes who presented a Senate Resolution (also co-sponsored by Sen. David Goodman) honoring Building Safety Week.
