Code Council Board President Zubia Attends SCFMA 2009 Spring Conference

For the first time in the 40-year history of the South Carolina Fire Marshals Association (SCFMA), a high-ranking International Code Council official was present. Council President Adolf Zubia attended SCFMA’s 2009 Spring Conference training and the chapter’s annual banquet where he installed the new officers. Accompanying Zubia was SCFMA’s new ICC Liaison Vaughn Wicker from South Carolina.

The 2009 Spring Training Conference included more than 20 hours of Code Council continuing education.

The newly elected SCFMA executive board includes President Gary Mocarski, 1st Vice President Frank Maples, 2nd Vice President Bruce Arnel, Director of Benefits Patrick Bradshaw and Director of Training Ben Bunting. Eddie Watson moves to Past President.
