Washington State Governor Chris Gregoire Appoints WABO's
Clare Ray Allshouse to Washington Building Code Council

Washington State Governor Chris Gregoire announced appointments to the Washington State Building Code Council. Clare Ray Allshouse of Kirkland was appointed to a term effective March 18, 2009, ending January 5, 2012. Allshouse is a building official with the city of Shoreline. He is a member of the Washington Association of Building Officials (WABO), Kirkland Planning Commission, National Fire Protection Association and American Institute of Architects.
The Council studies, recommends revision, and provides technical and general assistance to building officials about adopted codes relating to uniform building, energy and barrier-free designs. The Council also adopts and amends building codes.
