NCOBOA Presents Fundraising Mission

The North Central Ohio Building Officials Association (NCOBOA) is hosting a raffle to benefit their continuing education scholarships and involvement in the code making process at the 2009 ICC Annual Conference. The raffle is for a 2009 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Standard. Tickets are being sold for $50 apiece and only 600 tickets will be available. The drawing will be held on Thursday, September 10th at 8pm at the Quaker Steak and Lube Restaurant in Sheffield, OH. Winner need not be present. Please visit the NCOBOA website for more details.

NCOBOA’s fundraising mission:
Our mission is to educate our members on the Ohio Building Codes. To accomplish this we supply continuing education at little or no cost to anyone that requires it. In addition to continuing education, our members are asked to participate in the code making process. This generally requires those individuals to travel to other states to participate in discussion groups and the voting process. NCOBOA believes that this is a very important part of the code process and we can help defray the cost of travel, lodging and food for those who wish to volunteer their time. We raise funds to reimburse our members by supplying all day education seminars, group ticket sales to sporting events, golf outings, and raffles.
