Southern Arizona Chapter Meeting Covers IBC Soil Classification and Geotechnical Evaluations

Code Council Government Relations Regional Manager David Nichols attended the Southern Arizona Chapter meeting on July 21 at the San Pedro Golf Course Clubhouse and Restaurant in Benson, Arizona. Greg Keller of Western Technologies gave a presentation on Soil Classification and Geotechnical Evaluations as they apply to the International Building Code.

Chapter members increased their knowledge of this aspect of the building code while enjoying the beautiful views of the golf course along the San Pedro River and the Dragoon Mountains, home of the historic Cochise Chiricahua Apache Stronghold.
