COAA Hosts Special Guests at Annual Conference

Code Council CEO Rick Weiland (center) and Board of Directors Immediate Past President Steve Shapiro (right) attended the Code Officials Association of Alabama (COAA) Annual Conference in Orange Beach. Former ICC Board member Bubba Roberts was presented a COAA Lifetime Achievement Award for his years of service to ICC and the legacy organization Southern Building Code Congress International, and for his military service that included tours of duty in both Gulf Wars. Paul Antoine (left) was honored with the Code Official of the Year Award while the Association of North Alabama Code Officials was presented the Chapter of the Year Award.
