Code Council Attends North Texas Chapter of ICC Spring Meeting

Darren Meyers, Technical Director for Energy Programs for the International Code Council, presented to the North Texas Chapter of ICC on April 24 on the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and how building departments can benefit from the new Act. He provided an overview of the stimulus package, explaining the process to apply for grant money, and clarifying how building departments and the State’s Energy Office are included in the requirements of the ARRA.
