The International Code Council Foundation (ICCF) is pleased to announce the 2010 Building Safety Month toolkits will be available to order online in February for delivery during March. Free, downloadable components of the toolkits will include public service announcements, template letters to the editor, proclamations, news releases and public relations campaign strategies. The toolkits support ICC members and non-members to make Building Safety Month a success in their local community.Building Safety Month will be celebrated in May with each week focused on a core theme:

Week 2 | May 9-15 | Disaster Safety + Mitigation Week
Week 3 | May 16-22 | Fire Awareness + Safety Week
Week 4 | May 23-31 | Backyard Safety Week

ICCF is sponsoring a new fundraising campaign to secure contributions of $10 or more from at least 10,000 ICC members, partners and friends. The "10 for 10 in 2010" fund-raising campaign allows donors to designate their donation to general ICCF programs or into any or all three of the program focus areas of Professional Development, Consumer Education or Community Service.ICCF kicked off the campaign during the 2009 Foundation Luncheon at ICC's Annual Conference and raised more than $1,000 the first day.
