Former CAAK Board Member Virgil Tracy Puckett Passes Away |
![]() House Bill 244 was introduced to the 2000 Legislature where it passed the Senate 34‐1 and the House 84‐12 and was signed into law in April 2000. As a member of the CAAK legislative committee, Puckett worked with state legislators for many years on various plans to improve Kentucky's building inspection program. Ron Hampton, current CAAK Board Member, remembers Puckett as an “approachable” member of the Board who was “confident in his interpretation and determined in his mission”. He will be missed by many in the CAAK organization and condolences are extended to his family. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Foundation. |
