The International Accreditation Service (IAS), a subsidiary of the ICC, will be giving away an iPad and the new ICC Market App preloaded, along with the complete collection of the 2009 International Codes at the ICC Annual Conference Exhibit in Charlotte, North Carolina. The total value of the prize is more than $1,000. Eligible Conference attendees can register to win the prize in the IAS exhibit booth in Hall C of the Charlotte Convention Center on Monday, October 25, from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm and on Tuesday, October 26, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm.

IAS is a nonprofit accreditation body that provides accreditation programs to help building departments verify that companies are qualified and meet code requirements. There is no cost for building departments to use IAS accreditation programs to approve special inspection agencies, fabricators, metal building manufacturers, testing laboratories, field evaluation bodies and building department service providers. Newly released at the ICC Annual Conference, the ICC Market App for the iPad also provides users with the ability to purchase other available International Code Council (ICC) code and reference book titles such as the 2006 I-Codes and code commentaries.

Swipe function is enabled to easily flip back-and-forth through the documents; additional navigation controls are available by a simple tap of the screen.
