CEAT Benefits from ICC 2009 IPMC Fundamentals Course
The Code Enforcement Association of Texas (CEAT) met to take advantage of their 50 percent off Chapter Education Benefit on February 17 at the Hilton, San Antonio Airport. Code Council Vice President of Chapter Relations Laura Scott presented the 2009 International Property Maintenance Code Fundamentals course.

"Anyone planning to adopt and enforce the 2009 edition of the Property Maintenance Code will want to be trained on this code first. There were a number of significant chances in the 2009 edition as a result of the flooding in the Gulf states. The result is a code that provides new tools for inspectors who are dealing with the repair and boarding of uninhabitable buildings," Scott explained. Scott posed with newly elected officers for 2010-2011.
