ICC Los Angeles Basin, Orange Empire Chapters Hold Annual Banquet and Business Meeting

The ICC Los Angeles Basin (LABC) and Orange Empire (OEC) Chapters held their 2011 Annual Banquet and Business Meeting earlier this month in Montebello, California. Code Council CEO Rick Weiland served as a guest speaker and swore in the new chapter officers (pictured): LABC President Neville Pereira, City of Pasadena; LABC Vice President Truong Huynh, City of Long Beach; LABC 2nd Vice President Victor Cuevas, City of Los Angeles; LABC Treasurer Mazen Dudar, City of Los Angeles; LABC Secretary Richard Temple, City of Sierra Madre; OEC President Tony Weimholt, City of Norwalk; OEC Vice President Gabriel Linares, City of Brea; OEC Secretary Henry Huang, City of Tustin; OEC Treasurer Dan Kennedy, City of Newport Beach; and OEC Past President David Khorram, City of Orange. International Accreditation Service President Chuck Ramani also recognized George Chavez, Assistant Director of Community Development and Building Official for the City of Beverly Hills, California, for his service as the 2010 LABC Chapter President.

NYSBOC Delegates Meeting in Buffalo, New York

The New York State Building Officials Conference (NYSBOC) held its 5th Delegates Meeting on December 5, 2010, in Buffalo, New York. NYSBOC Rockland Chapter Meeting and Holiday Luncheon

The Rockland Chapter of the New York State Building Officials Conference (NYSBOC) announced during it's Meeting and Holiday Luncheon that it will generously donate $250 to the ICC Foundation's Project Heros charity.

Colorado Chapter of ICC Installs New Officers

Code Council Chapter Relations Vice President Laura Scott installs the new officers for the Colorado Chapter of ICC elected on December 9, 2010, in Colorado Springs. Gerry George presented the Beryl Wallace Award to Sam Dardano, City of Boulder, and President of the Colorado Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials. Mike Metheny, City of Aspen, was honored with the Presidents' Award from outgoing President Stephen Kanipe.
