International Code Council Senior Regional Director of Government Relations, Corey M. Roblee, and Director of Plumbing Programs, Lee Clifton, attended the Annual Meeting of the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors (NBBI) in Las Vegas, Nevada. The four-day meeting included assemblies of the general membership, the NBBI Board of Directors, educational speakers and ASME code hearings.

Code Council staff met with NBBI senior staff, executive members of the board of directors, boiler chiefs from throughout the United States and nations abroad, and stakeholders to discuss cooperative business opportunities outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding framework signed by the two organizations in 2010.

Code Council Board of Directors Immediate Past President Ron Lynn accompanied ICC staff and attended meeting events.

The NBBI is a member-based organization composed of Boiler Chiefs from each U.S. state or international province or jurisdiction. They publish the National Boiler Inspection Code, which serves as the only boiler inspection code in existence.
