The Code Council Board of Directors filled vacancies on the International Fire Code Council. Per the Council's Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC), two positions were filled based on IAFC recommendations: Fairbanks, Alaska, Deputy Fire Marshal Ernie Misewicz from the Western Division, replacing Eric Morhmann who resigned in April 2010; and Fire Protection Engineer Marc Sampson from the Missouri Valley Division, succeeding Mike Merrick whose term had expired.
