The International Code Council's Industry Advisory Committee (IAC) convened on March 12. Code Council staff briefed the committee members on a number of current topics, including the pending rollout of the new International Green Construction Code, the release of the new International Swimming Pool and Spa Code and the ICC Code Development Hearings slated for April 29-May 8 in Dallas. The staff also briefed the IAC on the results of a recent survey (see graphs below) that documents the benefits committee members place on being part of the ICC code development process, as well as some opportunities for even greater collaboration and coordination between the ICC and the industry.
