ACCA 2013 and the IE3: Indoor Environment & Energy Expo The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA), the nation's largest association of indoor environmental systems professionals, awarded Ron Bladen with the association's Distinguished Service Award. Bladen currently serves as President of the Virginia Plumbing Mechanical Inspectors Association, a Virginia ICC Chapter. Bladen was recognized at ACCA 2013 and the IE3: Indoor Environment & Energy Expo, held February 26-March 2 in Orlando, Fla. He was presented the Distinguished Service Award in front of ACCA contractor members at the association's annual Town Hall Meeting. ACCA's Distinguished Service Award is presented occasionally to an outstanding volunteer contributor to the association. Ohio Association of Plumbing Inspectors Hold Annual Banquet and Installation The Ohio Association of Plumbing Inspectors (OAPI) held its 55th Annual Conference March 3-6 at the Embassy Suites in Dublin, Ohio. The Annual Banquet and Awards Ceremony featured a keynote address from State Senator Troy Balderson. Code Council Senior Regional Manager of Government Relations Corey M. Roblee provided brief remarks to the Membership and installed the newly elected officers, including President Wyatt Simons and Vice President John Baumgartner. |

This ICC-ES PMG Listing allows code officials to quickly determine the press system's compliance to specific codes and standards. IAS accredits a wide range of companies and organizations, including governmental entities, commercial businesses and professional associations. IAS accreditation programs are based on recognized national and international standards that ensure domestic and/or global acceptance of its accreditations. |
Washington, D.C. Names IAS as Preferred Accreditation Body To ensure inspection agencies are qualified to perform third-party inspections in the nation's capital they must demonstrate compliance with the Construction Codes and the Procedure Manual. To perform third-party inspections, applicants accredited by the International Accreditation Service only need to provide evidence of a current IAS accreditation. |
