MVBOC Members Volunteer for Habitat for Humanity

Several members from Miami Valley Building Officials Council (MVBOC) volunteered their time and expertise to assist with the construction of a new home in West Carrollton, Ohio. A great deal was accomplished on the home that day, including siding, soffits, fascia, window placement and blocking for cabinets. The home is being constructed with ADA features to accommodate the new homeowner’s disabled son. The MVBOC chapter was featured on a local cable show segment highlighting the construction project. Michigan Association of Housing Officials Installs New Chapter Officers

Code Council Government Relations Regional Manager Corey Roblee attended the Michigan Association of Housing Officials (MAHO) Annual Business Meeting in Houghton Lake, Michigan. Here, Roblee installs the new chapter officers consisting of President David Vincent, Vice President Jim Graham, Secretary Yvonne Wright, Treasurer Paul Winters, Past President Howard Asch and Directors Vince Cantrell, Dan DeCamp, Ronda Chapman and Eric Jordan. In September, Asch and Vincent were on-hand at the Code Council's Annual Conference to accept MAHO’s first ICC Chapter Merit Award.
