CAPT Celebrates 10 Years

The Colorado Association of Permit Technicians celebrated their 10 year anniversary on July 23, 2008, at the Chateaux at Fox Meadows in Broomfield. Attending from ICC was Member Services Senior VP Mike Armstrong and former Board member Gerry George. Also addressing the group was Steve Byer, President of the Colorado Chapter. The chapter held a silent auction during the event and raised $514 for the Food Bank of the Rockies. CAPT thanks all the organizations that donated baskets of merchandise for the auction. Colorado Governor Bill Ritter, Jr., sent a letter to CAPT congratulating them on reaching this 10-year milestone. “The valuable work CAPT performs to maintain the integrity of building codes help keep the occupants and users of buildings out of harm’s way,” states Governor Ritter. Becky Baker from Jefferson County presented President Ann Freiberg with a framed original of the letter received from Governor Ritter.
