To better serve report holders and applicants in the area of concrete anchoring, ICC Evaluation Service, Inc. (ICC-ES) recently announced that Andra Hoermann-Gast will serve as the team leader for ICC-ES anchor reports. To increase efficiencies in processing anchor-related reports, an anchor team has been established, which will be led by Andra. Andra worked in the Anchorage/Fastening Division of the DIBt for eight years before joining ICC-ES as the team leader for anchor reports.
In this role, Andra will:
1. Serve as the primary contact person for all matters related to evaluation reports issued under AC01, AC58, AC60, AC106, AC193 and AC308.
2. Coordinate the issuance of all evaluation reports issued under the same criteria.
3. Provide interpretations of criteria as they relate to specific situations.
4. Provide input to the ICC-ES Evaluation Committee relative to changes to the above criteria.
5. Represent ICC-ES at industry forums, such as the Concrete Anchor Manufacturers’ Association (CAMA).
6. Participate in professional organizations, such as the American Concrete Institute (ACI).
