The ICC family was deeply saddened to hear of the untimely and unexpected death of Greg Wrona, a long time personal friend and supporter of International Accreditation Service (IAS) and ICC Evaluation Service (ICC-ES). Greg had been actively involved in the testing and inspection industry for most of his professional career having previously been employed by SGS U.S. Testing Company and who later joined the staff of ICC-ES as a Technical Specialist.
Most recently, Greg worked for Quality Auditing Institute, an IAS-accredited testing laboratory and inspection agency in Rancho Cucamonga, CA and was frequently seen at the ICC offices in Whittier either meeting with IAS on various testing or inspection matters or representing clients seeking evaluation reports with ICC-ES. Greg had previously worked alongside of several ICC-ES and IAS staff in the 1990’s during his tenure with U. S. Testing. An accomplished musician and singer, Greg’s passion was his music and he frequently played at venues and clubs in Hollywood and on the Westside but always seemed to take the time to entertain friends and acquaintances in the Whittier area where he resided. Greg will be missed by all who knew him. |
