Attendees of the National Council of Structural Engineers Association (NCSEA) October meeting will have the opportunity to participate in the ICC-ES Evaluation Committee meeting. The October 3 ICC-ES meeting will be dedicated to structural engineering topics. The October 2012 ICC-ES Evaluation and Environmental Committee meetings coincide with NCSEA Annual Conference October 1-6 at the Hilton Frontenac in St. Louis.

As part of the NCSEA conference, on October 4, Bill Warren, S.E., SECB, CAC, Evaluation Services Subcommittee Chair and Principal with SESOL, Inc., and Jim Collins, Ph.D., P.E., Director of Engineering for ICC-ES, will deliver the presentation "ICC-ES Collaboration, Process, and Effect on Structural Engineers". The presentation includes a description of how the ICC-ES program works, the effect it has on structural engineering practices, and an ongoing program of collaboration between ICC-ES and NCSEA.

For those unable to attend, ICC-ES will webcast its committee meetings live October 1-3 along with a full day of NCSEA meetings and October 4 presentations featuring the theme of The Spirit of St. Louis… Design Trends for the Future.

The upcoming June meeting of the ICC-ES Evaluation Committee will be held in Los Angeles. It will also be a webcast.
