Calibration Technician Refresher Course Reviews 17025 Requirements

The International Accreditation Service (IAS) announced two new ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) training courses for laboratory technicians looking to meet the ISO/IEC 17025 requirements for calibration in a calibration or testing laboratory.

The course will be taught by Graeme Payne, former Chair of the Measurement Quality Division for the American Society of Quality, co-developer of the exam. He’s also a co-author with IAS Accreditation Officer, Hershal Brewer and several others on The Metrology Handbook, the definitive single volume reference work in metrology today.

The two-day ASQ CCT course will provide a comprehensive emphasis on general metrology, measurement systems, calibration systems, applied mathematics and statistics, quality systems and standards and measurement uncertainty.

The CCT Refresher Course in Georgia will be held September 9–10 at Timber Products laboratory facilities, 1641 Sigman Road, Conyers, Georgia. Hotel accommodations are available at the Hilton Garden Inn in Lithonia, near Atlanta. Click here to register.

The CCT Refresher Course in Las Vegas will be held October 2–3 at the Silverton Hotel Casino in Las Vegas. Click here to register.
