The International Accreditation Service (IAS) is hosting its annual assessor forum on October 9-10 at the Norwalk Marriott Hotel in Southern California. The IAS assessor forum is a gathering of extensive technical staff and lead and technical assessors to provide an interactive forum to discuss the various challenges and insights resulting from IAS assessment activities. IAS staff will apprise attendees on current conformity assessment practice, update assessors on IAS policies and programs, and identify best-practice scenarios within the standards used in IAS accreditation programs. The forum will primarily cover ISO Guide 65, ISO/IEC Standard 17025 and ISO/IEC Standard 17020 issues.
The forum also will be attended by IAS Accreditation Committee members subsequent to the public hearing scheduled for the morning of October 9.
