| IAS TAC Meetings Scheduled for November |
IAS TACs are comprised of members selected from senior management positions within testing laboratories, calibration laboratories, inspection agencies, governmental or regulatory organizations, or recognized technical experts. The councils are formed to act in an advisory capacity on matters regarding accreditation protocol, conformity assessment, testing, calibration, inspection and other subjects relating to IAS accreditation activities. During these two meetings, the TAC will be providing input on technical matters, such as calibration policies on internal calibrations, Certified Calibration Technician, consideration of various personnel certification schemes to support accreditation requirements, inspector monitoring and international operations. |

The International Accreditation Service (IAS) Technical Advisory Council (TAC) meetings for Laboratories and Inspection Agencies are scheduled for November 13 and November 20, respectively.
