On January 9, 2010, IAS President Chuck Ramani joined a large group of code officials in Downey, California, to recognize the contributions of felicitate outgoing chapter officers and to welcome the incoming leaders at the ICC Los Angeles Basin Chapter Annual Installation Banquet, which was held with a grand Hawaiian Luau theme. The day began with an 18-hole round of golf tournament and concluded with the dinner and installation program. ICC CEO Rick Weiland joined President Ramani during presentation of a service award to the outgoing Chapter President Roy Itani, P.E., of the Los Angeles County Building Department.
