IAS Accreditation Committee Meets

The IAS Accreditation Committee met October 7 at the Doubletree Hotel in Norwalk, California. The meeting was attended by representatives of IAS-accredited testing and inspection agencies, building departments and other regulatory officials and industry members. IAS is the only accreditation body in the United States that allows public participation in open hearings in the development of its accreditation criteria. The committee deliberations included revisions to the following accreditation criteria:
