In 2009, the Laborers International Union of North America (LIUNA) Training and Education Fund was the first national training agency to achieve IAS' prestigious accreditation under AC371/372. LIUNA recently successfully completed its second IAS accreditation renewal assessment, a rigorous process that includes on-site review of LIUNA's internal Management System.

LIUNA Training is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit training agency which is based in Pomfret Center, Connecticut, and serves as the training arm for the Laborers' International Union of North America (LIUNA), supporting adult education for the construction workforce. LIUNA Training creates the courses, trains the trainers, and offers support for over 140,000 LIUNA members through 72 affiliated training centers located throughout North America.

The scope of LIUNA's accreditation includes construction supervision, environmental remediation, demolition, rehabilitation and restoration. For additional details about IAS' accreditation of LIUNA, click here.
