Conformity and Competence Support Services, Ltd., (CCSS) located in The People's Republic of Bangladesh, has been accredited by the International Accreditation Service (IAS) for its curriculum development and training-agency services.

Conformity and Competence Support Services offers professional safety education for employees and employers in manufacturing and industrial sectors throughout Bangladesh, with an emphasis on fire safety management and occupational safety and health. Its services are structured for both line workers and their managers. Conformity and Competence Support Services Chief Executive Officer Muhammad Sirazul Mawla states, "We are building a reputation for quality and high standards in industrial safety education and training for employees and employers. Third-party accreditation is a critical differentiator in that assessors independently evaluate the way we develop and deliver our programs against industry best practices."

The organization is accredited under the IAS Accreditation Criteria for Training Agencies for Work Force Qualification Programs (AC371), and its curriculum is accredited under the IAS Accreditation Criteria for Curriculum Development for Workforce Qualification Programs (AC372).

The AC372 criterion requires curriculum developers to demonstrate that the content of their curricula comply with nationally and internationally recognized standards of quality for best practices.

During the accreditation process for CCSS, assessors evaluated the organization's facilities, staffing, curriculum, product development and administration. International Accreditation Service accreditation emphasizes the practical (applied) elements of best practices, based on educational research; and requires that organizations have formally documented processes that are effectively implemented and regularly monitored to ensure their continuing suitability and effectiveness.

The IAS Scope of Accreditation for CCSS's Fire Safety Management program references include the Bangladesh National Building Code (2006); NFPA Standards; International Building Code; International Fire Code; Occupational Safety and Health program (per OSHA 1970); Health & Safety at Work (HSAW, 1974); Bangladesh Labor Law (2006); and Soft Skills Training for Teachers program.
