Directors elected representing Georgia are Ringo McCollum, William Duck and Tom Buttram. South Carolina Directors are Donny Phipps, Buddy Skinner and Chris Lee. Directors representing North Carolina are Charles Taylor and Mark Matheny. Tennessee Directors are Dallas Rucker, Eddie Plunket and Tim Earles.
Region VIII Awards were presented to Mike Smith, Building Official for Richland County, S.C., Code Official of the Year; Dennis Maidon, Chief Mechanical Inspector for Wake County, N.C., President's Award; the N.C. Building Inspectors Association, Outstanding Service; Denny Boss, retired Building Official for Oak Ridge, Tenn., Honorary Member; and John England of England Enterprises, Associate of the Year.
