NCARB tackles the great "intern" title debate.

The National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) will embark on a new initiative to sunset the usage of the term "intern" as a way to describe those who are working to become architects versus those who are already licensed architects. The announcement was made during the American Institute of Architects' 2015 National Convention and Design Exposition in Atlanta. Pictured at the event are (left to right) ICC CEO Dominic Sims, NCARB CEO Michael Armstrong, and ICC Board of Directors Secretary/Treasurer and Georgia State Fire Marshal M. Dwayne Garriss. Armstrong is a former executive with the Code Council.
