The stairway is only 20" in width. The deck exits back through the house. It appears in the 2015 IRC Section 311.1 limits the application of IRC Section 311 to a single required means of egress. Does that mean secondary stairways, doors, halls, etc., do not need to comply with IRC R311? Read more |
