Second annual event to network and enjoy the company of fellow ICC Chapter leaders.

Last year's Chapter Leadership Academy representatives from across the U.S. and several international countries share the goals and challenges they face during the inaugural ICC Chapter Leader Symposium in Oklahoma City.

Last year's Chapter Leadership Academy in Oklahoma City received such positive reviews, we're offering an opportunity for you to attend the second annual event. On June 6-7, 2017, the Code Council will host a new Chapter Leadership Academy in Atlanta, Ga.

Building on last year's theme about finding, recruiting and mentoring the next generation of Chapter leaders, this academy will focus on Chapter management skills, including using social media to reach out to new and prospective Chapter Members. There will also be plenty of time to network and enjoy the company of your fellow Chapter leaders.

Chapters in good standing may choose between a complimentary registration to the Annual Conference in Columbus, Ohio, or travel and attendance to this academy. If you choose to attend the academy, you will be responsible for making your own travel and hotel arrangements; you may submit receipts for reimbursement. Travel reimbursement forms are available here. The guidelines for reimbursement are covered under Council Policy 4.

The two-day academy will begin June 6 at 8:00 a.m. Those who arrive the night before are welcome to join colleagues for an informal dinner and social event. To reserve a room at the Doubletree Hilton Hotel in downtown Atlanta, book online. The cut-off date for reservations is May 15.
