The webinar Significant 2018 Code Changes for Multifamily Buildings will be held on June 29. It will highlight significant changes affecting multifamily construction based on the 2018 editions of the International Building Code and related Internationa Codes, in addition to significant changes to related design standards. Speakers include NAHB Director Gary Ehrlich and NAHB Senior Program Manager Dan Buuck, both with the organization's Codes & Standards Group.

The webinar on Using the Performance Path for Compliance in the IRC and Energy Code will be held on July 13. It will discuss how using the performance path — as opposed to the prescriptive path — in the 2015 International Energy Conservation Code provides builders more choices and flexibility in using materials and products while building more energy-efficient homes. Speakers include NAHB Construction Codes & Standards Director Craig Drumheller and NAHB Energy Efficiency Program Manager Don Surrena.

The live webinars will run from 2:00–3:00 p.m. Eastern (11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. Pacific, 1:00–2:00 p.m. Central).

NAHB is an ICC Preferred Education Provider offering training that will qualify for ICC certification renewals (ICC 0.1 CEU). In addition to ICC certification renewal, the webinar counts as 1.0 contact hour of continuing education credit for the following 12 designations: CAPS, CGA, CGB, CGP, CGR, CMP, CSP, GMB, GMR, Master CGP, Master CSP, MIRM.
