ICC Annual Conference — join us at the Government Relations Forum

The International Code Council's Government Relations Department is bringing a prestigious group of speakers to its Annual Conference in Columbus to discuss several current topics and emerging trends across the country. The presentation topics include a discussion on residential energy efficiency and home energy ratings, how building and energy codes affect realtors and their clients, and the latest on developing science-based tools to measure resilience in our communities. Participants will receive continuing education units for this session. Speakers and presentations include:

  • Stephen Cauffman, research engineer with the Community Resilience Program at the National Institute of Standards and technology, is speaking about "Community Resilience Planning Guide for Buildings and Infrastructure Systems."
  • Russell Riggs, senior policy representative for the National Association of Realtors, will discuss "How Do Building and Energy Codes Impact Realtors and Their Clients?"
  • Ryan Meres, program director for the Residential Energy Services Network, is giving an "Update on the Energy Rating Index Modifications in the 2018 IECC and States Adopting the Energy Rating Index."
