ICC recognizes manufacturers on Manufacturing Day |

| As Manufacturing Day approaches on Oct. 6, the International Code Council (ICC) recognizes all of the skilled manufacturers who make a positive difference in this vital industry. In particular, we commend those manufacturers that contribute to the plumbing, mechanical, fuel gas, swimming pool and spa, and private sewage disposal industries. Celebrated the first Friday each October, Manufacturing Day is a celebration of modern manufacturing intended to empower manufacturers, draw attention to its important role and economic significance in communities and its economic significance, and inspire the next generation of manufacturers. "ICC salutes the important work of manufacturers, which greatly impacts our communities and country," says Misty Guard, vice president of the ICC's Plumbing, Mechanical, Fuel Gas, and Swimming Pool and Spa Programs. "We hope the events on Oct. 6 shed much deserved light and recognition on the manufacturing industry." |
