Description
The Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) will offer a three-part course on Special Inspection, a program co-sponsored by the International Code Council. This series of classes will be held on February 9, 16 and 23, 2017. The course aims to ensure that inspectors are familiar with precast industry operations and codes. In addition, ICC members who interact with special inspectors are encouraged to reach out to their local inspectors and inspection agencies to attend the course as well. Please note that course participants must attend all three classes to earn the 4.5 contact hours.

After completing this series, participants should:

Reference code requirements pertaining to the special inspection of precast concrete structures
List at least 5 types of precast concrete structures
Understanding the precast concrete manufacturing process and its impact on special inspections

Inspect the erection of precast concrete structures

Classes will be held Thursday nights from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. Eastern Time starting on February 9, 2017. Each class will be hosted online allowing you to access the content from the comfort of your home, office, hotel room, or anyplace with an internet connection! Recordings of each class will be made available to all registered attendees in case of absence or if you'd like to review the content.
