2008 International Code Council Annual Conference,
Business Meeting & Final Action Hearings Wrap-Up

International Code Council Northeast Regional Coalition (Region VI) Chapter representatives attending this year's Annual Conference in Minneapolis participated in a number of events. In addition to the Expo, training and numerous hospitality opportunities, Region VI chapter leaders also participated in Open Regions Meetings, the Chapter President's Breakfast and the Chapter Leadership Program.

Each Code Council Region held open meetings and caucused prior to Code Council Board elections. Code Council President Adolf Zubia visited each meeting. Earlier in the year, Region VI sent a resolution to the Code Council Board of Directors requesting information on the establishment, function and responsibility of a region. Cracker Barrel Luncheon Offers a Variety of Discussion Choices

The Cracker Barrel Luncheon offered 72 different Cracker Barrel topics. Participants could select three 20-minute sessions to listen, discuss and learn about the International Codes, current technology and issues related to the building safety and construction industry.
