ICC Evaluation Service issued ESR-3631 to Structurlam Products LP for its CrossLam cross-laminated timber (CLT) panels, providing evidence CrossLam CLT panels comply with the code requirements of the 2015 International Building Code and International Residential Code. Cross laminated timber is a relatively new technology involving the efficient use of the timber resource in manufacturing "mass timber" building components; CLT structures often experience faster construction times and also result in net carbon negative buildings. |

Learn more about ICC-ES' cooperation with Innovation Research Labs. ICC Evaluation Service, the experts in built environment product evaluation and certification, and Innovation Research Labs, a state-of-the-art testing laboratory with a market-research facility, entered into a cooperation agreement to better serve the manufacturers of building and plumbing products and materials. The relationship enables ICC-ES to bring testing, evaluation, and listing under one roof, essentially creating a "one-stop" conformity assessment agency. A key benefit will be the availability of a front-end test plan that will speed up the listing and evaluation report process. It will also minimize delays in obtaining testing data. View the video. |
