Have You Wondered How to Speed Up Your Evaluation? Consider Doing a Test Plan

ICC-ES' experience with "fast-track" reports has made it clear that the review will go faster when the report applicant and ICC-ES agree on a test plan before testing is done. Initiating a test plan does the following:

1. Identifies the full scope of the project. When ICC-ES knows the variety of products and configurations under review, we can make decisions as to what tests are required and how many products should be tested.
2. Identifies any variations between the standard or acceptance criteria and the intended test method. It can be agreed in advance that some tests may not be needed. (Reports are frequently delayed when applicants are put in the position of justifying the testing that they did, to the ICC-ES staff, after the fact.) Click to continue.
