Inspector gets his kicks — and conference fix — on Route 66. Delavan, Wis., Building Inspector Fred Walling crossed two items off his bucket list when he traveled to ICC's 2015 Annual Conference in Long Beach, Calif. The Vice President of the Southwest Wisconsin Building Inspectors Association made the journey aboard his Harley Davidson while riding the famed Route 66. "This one may have been a bit higher than the conference, albeit I got to check off two from my list," Walling admitted. "It was phenomenal on two fronts." In all, Walling rode 4,925 miles over 10 days, which included four spent at the conference in Long Beach. "I'm pretty confident I 'nailed it,'" he said as an obvious construction pun. View some of the photographs from Walling's trip. |
