Georgia is the latest to adopt ISPSC statewide.

The state's Department of Community Affairs recently changed the status of the International Swimming Pool and Spa Code (ISPSC). Where it had been adopted as optional in 2012, now it will become mandatory on Jan. 1, 2017. This is the first time the department has ever changed a code from permissive to compulsory.

Former NES leader, ICC advisor Conover is retiring.

If Dave Conover were only remembered as one of the people who designed technology to bring fresh Coors beer east of the Mississippi for the masses, his legacy would have been secure. Add to that a 40-year history of helping develop codes and policies, intertwining them with new technology and bearing the standard for all to see, and it's evident that in retirement, he leaves a body of work even more intoxicating.
