Federal tax credit for energy efficient homes future is bleak.

The federal tax credit for builders who build and sell energy-efficient homes expired on December 31, 2016. In the previous Congress there was no introduction of legislation to extend the credit and the future of the credit is problematic. Energy efficient builders or HERS Raters should not plan on the credit in the future.

Interesting global construction trivia.

The world's thinnest home is the Keret House located in Poland, measuring just 4.99 feet (152 cm) across at its widest point. The iron, two-floor structure is an art installation inserted between two existing buildings, representing different historical periods in Warsaw's history. It does not meet Polish building codes, even though it is being used as a residence.
