Here are some answers to our most frequently asked questions.

Registration

What are the deadlines for registering for the conference?

The deadline for early bird registration is September 15, 2019. After that date, the rates will increase.

How do I modify or cancel my registration?

Changes or cancellations must be received in writing and can be sent via email to conference@iccsafe.org.

Cancellations received prior to September 22, 2019, will receive a full refund. Cancellations received between September 22 and October 6, 2019, will be refunded, less a $50 administrative charge. Cancellations received after October 6, 2019, will not be eligible for a refund.

I work for more than one jurisdiction; which Member number do I register with?

The Member number is used to verify voting rights. Register with the jurisdiction for whom you are the designated voter.

If you are a designated voter for more than one jurisdiction, it is recommended that you register with the one who is underwriting any or all your conference expenses.

Do members receive a registration discount?

Yes, members will receive a registration discount. View the registration fees web page for more pricing details.

How do I register my companion after I finish my registration?

Contact conference@iccsafe.org to add a companion or event ticket.

Can I complete a bulk registration for more than one attendee?

Bulk registration is not available. Each attendee will need to register individually.

Can I buy individual event tickets and/or companion tour tickets?

Yes, separate event tickets are now available to purchase ahead of time or at the registration desk onsite.

I am a chapter president and I already registered. How do I get a refund for my registration?

In order to get a refund, please contact Jessica Franklin at conference@iccsafe.org.

Hotel Accommodations

How do I make hotel reservations?

Please visit the lodging page on the conference website to make your hotel reservations.

Dress Code

What is the dress code for the annual conference?

The dress code for the annual conference is business casual.

Membership

If I do not know if my particular jurisdiction is a member, who do I contact to check membership status?

To verify that your jurisdiction or company is a Code Council Member, please contact ICC Membership Services at 888-ICC-SAFE (888-422-7233), ext. 33804.

When are the Membership Council meetings?

New this year, Membership Council meetings are moving from Sunday, October 20, to Wednesday, October 23.

Voting Status

How do I check my voter validation status?

My voting status is incorrect. Who do I contact to have that changed?

Education

How many CEUs are available to help fulfill training requirements?

Please visit the CEUs page for a complete list of credits available, and the Education page and Expo Pavilions page for classes offered.

Is my state/agency approved for CEUs?

Certification Exams & PRONTO

Does the Code Council offer certification examinations at the annual conference?

The Code Council offers PRONTO “Bring Your Own Device” (BYOD), a limited, event-based, live-proctored online exam administration. Exams are available under the 2018 I-Codes year only.

What happens if I am unable to attend the BYOD event after signing up?

If you are unable to attend, please contact the Assessment Center at byod@iccsafe.org or 1-888 (422-7233) ext. 5524 before the exam date. Fees are non-refundable.

Codes

Will print copies of the I-Codes be available for purchase onsite at the annual conference?

Yes, we will have a full bookstore on site. You will also be able to order materials at the bookstore and ship them to your home or office at no additional costs. Please note, fees for international shipments will apply.
